Manchester-based Sports Technology firm, Skylab, has been named amongst the top 10 Sports Technology businesses in the UK at BusinessCloud’s annual SportTech 50 awards, an annual honour ranking the top 50 Sports Technology and Digital organisations across the UK.
Storming up the rankings this year to 10th place, Skylab sits amongst the most innovative, disruptive and revolutionary organisations in the sports and sports technology sectors, across the UK’s thriving business landscape.
The accolade, which aims to recognise sports technology firms disrupting the industry, was awarded to Skylab for its work with leading sporting organisations both in the UK and around the world. This places Skylab amongst the likes of industry disruptors STATSports, Tappit and WattBike. Skylab’s clients include a number of national and international governing bodies, Premier League and North American football clubs, prestigious global sporting event facilitators and more.
Significantly driving up the rankings from 39th place in 2021 to breaking the top 10 in 2022, Skylab’s tailored, market-leading and first-of-its-kind offerings, which bridge the gap between digital, bespoke web platforms and the world of elite Performance Analysis, are cited by BusinessCloud as key considerations in Skylab’s 10th place ranking in 2022.
While Skylab was up against stiff competition from renowned organisations across the UK, the Skylab team was recognised for their client dedication, innovation, business growth, strong online reputation, customer feedback, and business performance, amongst other criteria.
Skylab revolutionises how elite sports teams and individuals interact, use, and visualise their data. By packaging performance analysis with industry-leading UX and bespoke software, partners will be in the position to make better decisions in sport.
