Specialist Sports Firm Skylab Confirms Three Key New Appointments

Skylab, a Manchester and London-based specialist firm for sports organisations across the globe has confirmed three key appointments in their efforts to move in a bold, new direction. Following their merger with industry leading performance analysis firm, Insight Analysis (now Skylab: Elite Performance Analysis, a division of Skylab) and mobile app development agency, Cuhu, Skylab are primed to provide bespoke software and performance analysis services to elite sporting clients, leveraging the skills, drive and connections of their new appointees.
Skylab has enhanced its senior management team with the appointment of Zak Saucede in the role of Head of Analysis and Data Solutions for Skylab: Elite Performance Analysis. In their marketing and new business teams, Raza Khan takes up the role of Marketing Manager and Ciaran Skinner has been named as Business Development Manager. With them, all three bring extensive industry experience and will help drive progress towards Skylab’s long-term goals in both digital and sports performance analysis industries.
Highly experienced Performance Analyst Zak Saucede joins Skylab’s Senior Management Team from the Lawn Tennis Association, British Canoe Slalom and Mavericks Netball. Having designed and developed the tagging panel system used by the Lawn Tennis Association to propel Jamie Murray and Joe Salisbury to Masters and Grand Slam glory, Zak’s title-winning experience and desire to create practical, observable changes in sport, makes him the perfect fit for Skylab.

Within Skylab’s marketing and new business teams, Raza and Ciaran bring over a decade of combined experience. Raza’s varied marketing background across BT, EE, Shell, Disney and PureGym will push Skylab’s marketing in a provocative, disruptive, new direction in the hopes of attracting top-level clients. Ciaran, an industry expert, whose ability to build key relationships played key roles in Wales’ 2016 European Championship success and Toronto FC’s first ever MLS Cup win, will look to use his client experience to build Skylab’s client base across sports and technology.
